I have a ruger 96 lever action 22 that my dad had. I found the box of shells he bought with it. There was about 25 rounds thru it to sight in the scope and kill about 4 rats around the shed. In 3 years I have never seen one on here for sale .What would be a ball park value If I decide to sell Ken

I have both the Ruger 96/22WMR and the 96/17HMR rifles.
Although I don't see many of them around, the ones I have seen for sale, sell for good money.
There seriously getting harder and harder to find and unless you really need the money, you may want to consider keeping it.....

you must have a heck of a lot of guns ( don`t answer that I wouldn`t ask a personal question)

i must admit ive never seen one of these, seen as in in my hand shooting it.

what are they like?

are they good solid guns that are smooth and such?

cause for that price you are chucking around you could get a Browning Lever in the upper class finish.

Very solid rifle.
The triggers are a little stiff, but that seems to be the norm with Ruger rimfires. ;)
