The big problem is that people don't differentiate between an AR10 and a .308ar. An AR10, is an Armalite, period. Everything else is a .308 AR

There is more options out there than that. Waffle mags on RRA, Armalite has both style mags and a variation of the mix to boot. If you want the most common pattern - DPMS or a variant of - is you answer.
