Are there any Airgun Shooting Club in Toronto???

Hello everyone

I am looking for an Air gun shooting club in Toronto, where I can practice 10M Air pistol shooting. I am new in Canada and I have no idea about shooting sports in Canada. I am from Pakistan and I have won several medals in National Games of Pakistan. I want to continue my shooting here but as I said I have no idea how to do it. I found a club named as Scarborough Rifle Club on Internet but there is no specific address given on there website. I don't know if it exist or not. I'll appreciate any suggestion. :D
 
Head over to the Canadian Airgun Forum. A user on there plinkercases, was trying to get one going. I haven't been following the topic and I don't know how far into the progress they are. Anyways, it would not hurt to ask your question over there as well. Lots of great air gun information!

The only dedicated airgun range that I am aware of is the one previously mentioned. I know it won't be open officially until April 1, 2014. Everyone else either joins a live ammo range (that typically offer limited air gun usage), or set up a range in their house. It's very sad, that proper airgun ranges and competitions are not more popular in this country. Hope that helps.

I used to shoot air pistol in germany as a teenager and even won a silver medal once at a local shoot...after coming to canada i always wanted to continue this but never found anyone interested or any clubs set up for it,so i shoot at home into a pellet box and I've been lucky enough to live in commercial studios where I usually have 10 m available to set it up,and neighbours tolerant of that sort of noise...but what about an informal private club in a unit like the one I'm in right now?-Ive got 10x20 yards on the main floor which allows me to shoot my hunting bow in fall across the length as well...now if a few likeminded people in toronto get together and rent a unit like this we could easily have a shooting club/clubhouse all at the same time with relatively little expense...not sure about the legal aspect of it though...
 
Just as mentioned earlier in this topic, contact Plinkercases on the Canadian airgun forum, he has organized the Greater Toronto airgun club, it's new. I don't live in Toronto so I can't tell you anymore than that but I think it's worth checking out.
