Do the new fde tavor a come with the rail under the hand guard?

All US ones are restricted with barrel lengths of 16.5" or 18". Canada also has 2 models. The 15" barreled CTAR-21 (restricted) and the standard 18.6" barrelled non restricted one. These 2 models are imported by North Sylva Company from Israel. The US versions are largly the same with some modifications such as quick detach sling mounts, and a slimer trigger pack.

All Tavor barrels are manufactured by IWI Israel and are 5.56, but the civi ones are stamped .223 for export regulations.

There is a lot of great info in the Tavor FAQ thread, use the search function and set how far back you want to go, OR go to the black rifle forum and it should be near the top as a sticky.

My FDE came with the 2 optional rails one under the handgrip and on the one on the side. I personally don't like the one under the handgrip but it takes about 20 seconds to remove.

None of the TAR-21 or SAR-21 (US model) come with rails in the 6 o clock position from factory. They all however come with the necessary mounting points to attach the after market rail that is available from zahal I believe.

The last batch of black Tavor's we got had a 6:0 rail on them from factory, as well as the newer trigger pack that is somewhat lighter than the earlier units. I would imagine that FDE guns from the same production period would also have the 6:00 rail. Purely speculation though as I haven't seen any brand new FDE guns.
