I will never be like him....hasn't he fired over 3 million round in his career? I can't see ever getting to that point. It would be great to have the instruction no doubt....but $750 is just not something I can justify...at least not anytime soon

I am however, impressed that Alex was able to coordinate something like this in Ontario.
 
Well first off, if you think you'll never be like him, then you won't be. That part is simple. However if you are an IPSC shooter who is serious about being competitive to the best of your ability Eric will help you do that, and you won't find a better instructor to do it. Is it expensive? Yup, but it is still chump change compared to what you'll waste in ammo practicing on your own with no idea on how to do it for the win. There is a reason the top shooters take classes with multiple instructors, it's too get better. Whining about what someone else makes also is pretty low. He makes that much because people will pay it, and he's worth it.
 
I'm no serious competitor by any stretch of the imagination but would still be very happy to attend and learn.
Is it a lot of money?.... Yes if you work long hard hours to earn your cash
and.......
Not really when you consider flights, hotel, meals and everything else required to travel and Instruct when he could be honing his own skills and not willing to share. If I had the extra $$$ and the time to take off work you bet I'd go.

I accepted that a long time ago....with a wife, job, two kids and other priorities, even if I was capable of being like him, it wouldn't happen simply because of a lack of dedication. Unfortunately, my free time, energy and resources are split among a variety of things. I don't sleep and breathe IPSC. I think instruction is valuable to anyone shooting IPSC, but its scalable as well....you don't have to take instruction from the top shooter in the world to learn how to be a decent/good or even great shooter.

To those who will be attending, I'm sure you'll have a great time. In any event, I'm not complaining about the costs...in fact, I'm a little surprised its not more. The top shooter in the world of course will command a decent $ for teaching services. If this course fills up, its obvious that what he is charging is reasonable.
 
Seeing that the Eric's class is pretty much full. Why not ask Alex to put on a class for you guys if enough interest. Not saying show what Eric showed in the class but his own.

Ok, another FYI!! Both 2 day courses have sold out in a week. Due to demand, Eric has added another 2 day course to his trip.
July 3-4 now open for signup, and you still can choose between July 9 or 10 for the level 3 course. Interest has been incredible. Thanks to all those who want to improve their shooting.
