I like the sound of .360 Wagner. 360 degrees around the circle. A well-rounded cartridge. :D

EDIT: Changed my mind. .366 Wagner is better.

Whether it catches on beyond the "CGN World" or not... it will be affectionately known as the .366 Wagner (or "WAG") to many CGNers...

Dumbest thread ever.

If you actually read the thread, then you should understand that Ted (Mr. Wagner to you, and Why Not? on this forum) has done more to infuse interest in the 9.3X62 in Canada than anyone else ever. Many of us who have been introduced to this cartridge by Ted just thought it would be nice to honor him in some way for his efforts on behalf of the old 9.3X62. If you are not one of the converts, and believers then just move along, this thread is not for you.
Your post is very juvenile and uncalled for, if threads on here are not of interest to you then it is appropriate to move along without comment, not to resurrect a thread that died 6+ months ago just to voice your distain............. You sadly place much, much greater weight on your opinion than I do, and I think I can speak for most on here and say......than they do as well. You obviously have absolutely no idea of what is going on here, and the respect so many of us have for this man, to wish to change a cartridge name to reflect his efforts to establish this cartridge as a viable NA hunting cartridge. Also as a means of recognizing his unimpeachable reputation on this forum, for truth and common sense, tempered with many decades of real life experience, unlike so many on here..............

.37 Otto
.37 Bock
.366 Otto
.366 Bock

All make more sense to me, as this is the person that actually developed the cartridge.
aside from allegedly being his favourite cartridge, I don't see how Ted Wagner has anything to do with it.

Johnn, I too intend to engrave or stamp my CZ 550 FS, 366 WAGNER. Some may say this would reduce the value of the CZ but you and I know different, hey Johnn..........

No doubt in my mind.:DJust imagine what it'll do to the value of my Zastava,;) $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Ya, beat me to 'er, but no worries.
The 9.3X62 Mauser is just fine as is without renaming. Otto Bock developed the bugger in 1905, and if any name other than mentioned above be applied to this cartridge...it should be the 9.3 Bock.

Too easy...as well as correct.:bangHead:
