So I was having some fun with my new 1/2HP buffer when the barrel bushing for my NP29 slipped and went flying into the darkest recesses of my basement. Yeah, I'm a moron. Really not happy.

I sent an email to Marstar, waiting for a reply. Anyone know where else I might find one? It would really make my day (which has been very craptacular so far) if someone could hook me up. I hear 45 cal and 9mm are not interchangeable. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Man, I was getting a mirror finish on that bushing, then just like that it was gone. I'm friggin mad. :mad:

Oh lawdy! I just spent the last 4 hours tearing up my basement, and I found the bushing in the trashcan that was sitting a foot away from me. The force with which it flew out of my hands, and I could swear it ricocheted off the wall in front of me and shot to the other side of the basement, and yet it landed just inches away from me.

Well, you're right about one thing: a yard sale is necessary. It's gonna hurt, but I really should get rid of some of this stuff.

I'm still going to look for a supply of spare parts, though. Scary to think that one stroke of bad luck could sideline my pistol indefinitely.
