I guess that's another one to design.

Ok so after reading thru your build (luke s) what I really only need different from a regular .223 is a barrel and bolt head.
Oh and a piston driven system is preferred when using corrosive ammo.

I to have built an upper in 7.62x39.

I was using the wolverine 10 round Lar Mags in 7.62x39 and for me they seemed to work great.

The heart of the upper was a post ban Colt barrel and bolt that I was able to get a hold of.
