Winter 2-gun Match at Galt Sportmen's Club

Awesome time out there today guys! Minus 21 deg C and NO cancellations and NO no-shows! Every shooter out there today had balls...they might have been up around their armpits by the 4th stage, but they had them nonetheless. Great bunch of shooters, great support from the gang at Galt3gun, and great prizes from the sponsors!

Awesome day at the range. Great stages and the galt reps were very helpful with all aspects of the match. Very well designed. Big thanks to the sponsors for the gracious gifts.

Thanks for organizers and all the sponsors for making this match happen! Match was nicely setup with no delay and no wind in the morning which helped quite a bit. Shooting steel with rifle is much more rewarding than shooting paper.
 
Results and Video

Congrats to all 24 shooters! Below are the results along with a video showing each of the 4 stages. Though it might look like we were having a bit too much fun with the target presentation, there was some challenging stuff out there...on part of stage 4 for example, shooters were asked to make eight 175 yard rifle shots from weak side through ports and on steps of barricade in -20 deg C weather no less!

Hope everyone had fun. I know that we did putting it on and shooting it as the 4th squad.

I remember that procedural and you are correct! I thought he switched back to his previous step after the mag change - brain was partially frozen and effects of coffee were wearing off at that point! I will edit Sly's score accordingly!

I didn't get much video, and it's pretty wide angle, but, I *did* nail that Spartan target.

I know, my pistol is horrible....

But, just so everyone can see, there wasn't much of a trick to the Spartan...

Went up two spots. Thanks for the score correction. I thought I had switched but i was so cold i coudnt remember anything.
