Just remember that 5% extra muzzle velocity for a given powder automatically means 10% greater maximum pressure!!!
Simply put in numbers: 150fps = 6000 extra PSI! (7 Rem Mag is often loaded at 58,000 PSI)
Some published "known safe" loads are loaded at more than 70,000 PSI and that's how they get the extra velocity.

Not sure what your barrel will do but all my 7s got the best velocity and accuracy with IMR 7828.............I'm tired of getting flamed so I won't even say what I have gotten out of 160s in a 7 Mag.......considerably more than 2800 lets just say, hell my 280 gets more than 2800 with 160s. You might also want to try RL 25 .
My own 7mm Rem does 3000 fps with a 160 Nosler and 7828. Nosler's book has it at a bit more and Hodgdon's has it at 2860 fps with the same charge of the same powder and a Partition. Which is going to be right?

You might also want to try RL 25 as I have not tried that yet as I currently don't own a 7 Mag, but it works well in my 257 Wby and my 7 RUM, might be too slow for the Rem Mag though.
All of them.
