Ok...My MK11 is in the mail.Abuddy has placed and order from Boyds for 2 thumbhole replacements for him and I.Butt plate is included and the trigger guards are ordered.i'll assume(Without actually handling my mk11 yet) the bolt that holds barrel to stock is interchangeable between the two stocks?I've been reading about a Magazine plate?Does that come with? or does it need to be ordered from Savage?I dare say someone else here has been this route recently...

The action bolts may be too short... if you have a "G" or "F" Version stock then you will need to order the longer bolts... you can get them direct from Savage, ask them for "B" version bolts (Boyd's). You can also try to source the DIP Action Pack, which include the bolts, 1/8" mag plate and steel TG... Boyd's also aells the Savage parts seperately... but the DIP parts are a huge improvement.
