Most Accurate OTS .22LR?

I'm sure this is going to be a repost of a repost of a repost, but i just couldn't find anything with the search function.

I'm looking at buying a bolt 22 to be an accurate 100/200yard shooter. I've pretty much been looking at CZ 455's and Savage Mk. II BTVS's. Just wondering what everyone's opinions are on accurate 22's.

I plan on doing some shooting at the range with it and taking out to the gopher patch.
 
If you want real accuracy, look into an anschutz 54 action. If you don't want to drop 1500+ on a rifle, the cz 452/455 is excellent value for the money but you won't get the same level of accuracy out at 100+ yards
 
I have three CZs that are much better than my abilities. I limit most of my gopher shooing to under 100. A 452 Lux if you can find one. If you don't mind a heavier gun, the Thumbhole Varmint will sit in the bags better.
 
Kinda thought there was a budget of sorts so I had to put in a plug for the CZ. I have two 64 series Anschutz, one sporter and a 190 target. My results with these are the same as the CZ, dead gophers. Just my shooting and the ever present SK wind.
 
If you are set on a new 22, then CZ is quite good at the price. [452, 453, 455]

If you could find a used Remington 541S or T, that would fit the bill nicely.

I'm sure some of the Savages and marlins are OK, but in my personal experience, they are not as good.

If looking for something easy on the pocketbook, the Marlin XT-22 is fantastic. Even brand new they are well under $300 and still shoots much better than I can.

EDIT addition: I have two friends who own the Savage Mark II and both have had reliability issues.

from that article a CZ will do just fine. The biggest deal in shooting a 22lr accurately is the trigger, the bullet stays in the barrel for so long, that movement caused by trigger pull really moves the muzzle. You can easily improve the trigger with a yodave trigger kit.

OP a CZ will serve you well. Buy one, you won't regret it.
 
Here is a little group that was shot with a CZ scout at 50 yards. If you need better than this, you need to spend $1500 and up.

This was posted in a sporting goods store, next to the CZ 22's and they lasted all of 6 days before they were sold out.

Ok, if budget is an issue then you are not going to beat the CZ line for accuracy for price paid! I have a selection of some accurate .22's and there are even a couple of Savage Mark II's in the bunch. I would say accuracy wise in what I have is Savage mark II's, toss up between the CZ's
and the Vostok cm-2, Anschutz 190 and then the Anschutz 54 beats them all. I don't have a Cooper. (yet) lol
 
I have a Savage Mk II and it's pretty awesome. You'll have to pay a lot more to do significantly better.

If you're looking for rimfire accuracy, don't overlook the 17hmr. It's way more accurate than 22lr and ammo isn't that much more expensive. A 500$ 17hmr is probably better at over 100 yards than any 22lr out there.
 
My CZ 455 from yesterday with some junk .22lr ammo (sighted in for 25 yards only)

** The Thunderbolt ammo has a really erratic pattern over 25 yards - its why I only use it for gophers and 25 yard gaming.
