in regards to the Sambar, YEP! ive been saying it all along, they are just the size of an Elk, an mighty tough to poor shots! she wasa big mature girl.

Excellent!! Getting the young un's into it is a future payoff for us all. Congrats on the hunt. Nice scenery down there by the way, up here is snow, ice pellets, rain, you name it. :cheers:
 
Life and hunting is good when you have a boy to share it with...............I have been blessed with two of them 17 years apart. The elder now takes the younger hunting quite often and is insuring the propagation of the lifestyle at least in our family. I have taken both of them to Africa for their first serious hunting experiences, where they could at least legally pull the trigger..........unlike Canada.

Africa that's a dream most don't ever get to realize.. what a way to start congrats
 
It was always my dream, growing up poor. Never thought I'd ever realize it, but hard work and an entrepreneurial spirit paid off and I have been able to go 7 times now. My boys are two different personalities, my eldest took to it like a duckling to water, the younger was quite ho hum about it all.
