Well it's not completely finished yet but you'll get the idea of what she looks like. STI upper, NEA Z marked lower, NEA FA BCG, Norc 10.5 take off barrel, RRA Sock, and a Magpul pistol grip. I've got and NEA LPK that should be here early next week, can't wait. Not how I originally envisioned it looking was planning to make a 20'' A1 clone but 20" barrels aren't easy to come by and I was able to get this piece by piece as I had extra cash. All in I'm at like $1006 and I'm happy with the look. Looks like the A1 will be my next project.

Nice, I like the look of a carry handle SBR.
Mind you I find they look out of proportion with a full stock.

I'm surprised that 20" barrels aren't more avalible.
 
I built almost the same gun. mine is 11.5. I will post pics once it comes back from having the front sight pins drilled.

That's a point.
An adjustable may just be for looks for you.

Some stances you would use for AR might make Use at a shorter stock even given your size.
