Ive noticed the Armtac site is rarely updated and they have been offering a pre order for the Smith Enterprise M14 receivers for quite a while now. Have any of the orders been filled? If not how long have you been waiting? Im just trying to get a rough idea on how long a wait would be.

There's a HUGE backlog for SEI receivers in the US. I think it will be years before we see anymore up here. Another option would be to import one of the SEI/ crocs gunshop "shop guns" for sale on gunbroker, or go with a JRA or LRB, or try and find one of the three already up here ;)

I spoke to Chris a couple days ago, it'll be a year before I see my next m25 LRB, he did say that they have some LRB m14sa's in stock. He also mentioned that his SEI order was arriving very soon if I wanted to opt for one of those which I'm thinking very hard about.

FYI, I just ordered an LRB, and their wait times aren't that bad at the moment. They said they can start building a rifle in a few weeks.

That's the word on the street, also heard from another guy getting one built. I think this time around I'll skip the middle man and use IRG once she's built. I'm going to call them tomorrow and ask about just getting receivers imported or are the wait times on complete rifles totally different

I talked with SEI at shot show, they said they will not export to Canada, so wonder how there are getting export approval when the owners don't want to export to Canada?

Hmmm, that is strange. I know Armtac has had SEI rifles in the past. Time will tell.

yes I did find it strange when I talked to them, so went back the next day and asked again, was told that they do not ship to Canada.
so I guess that the parts are coming in 3rd, 4th party.
Or the people at SEI I talked to don't know who they are selling too?

Croc's Gun Shop (Santa Fe, NM) has a US Department of State export license and sells SEI receivers and rifles. My guess is that Croc's Gun Shop is the exporter shipping SEI items to Canada.

I will be receiving an SEI m14 from Armtac this coming tuesday. I ordered in a few months back. Will post some pictures later in the week.
