quite pricey for a glorified 10/22,,,

Not really. The only thing 10/22 about it is the pattern. Some people are after more than just regular off-the-shelf stuff. That's why there's a market for Knights, Noveske, and other high end AR's.

If I had the cash, I'd be ordering one.

When's your guys financing option going to come to the online store. Then I'd totally be down for one of these. Or the ones in the TS stock. :D

if you want the best accuracy,,get a bolt gun,,,and those ARE a 10/22 copy,,,but i will admit,,they are damn nice,,,

True, you do recommend bolt guns in other threads.

The Norinco's bolt guns should be comming back around pretty soon,,at 1/3 the price of these savage,,i dont see why a guy needs to spends this much on a rifle... the Norinco is about $300.00,,so easy to justify..

Having said that, I don't doubt that the Tac-Sol is more than up to the abilities of most shooters.

Are you really comparing the performance requirements of an AR15 to that of a 10/22?

no he is simply saying (and i agree) that there is a market for high end items. There is nothing a noveske or knights ar does that a daniel defence or stag doesn't.

simply put some people drive pintos and some drive porches... they both get you from a to b, one does it rudimentary and one does it with style and speed.

Then please explain how I was comparing 'performance requirements'.

Because that's not what I was doing. Which makes you the only thing that's asinine here.

I understand that there is a market for high end items, when it makes sense. What I mean is, a .223 (AR15) can do almost anything a .22LR can do, but not vise versa. If you are going to spend $1200 on a rifle, you may as well get your moneys worth and buy an AR15 (or a non-restricted Mini-14 for that matter) and have a lot more firepower. And yes, it is a glorified 10/22. Though a really nice one, you are right about that.

An AR 15 cannot be fired at 5¢, pretty big deal to me lol
