question: Does the RPD come with a sling? Minor detail I know, but I like to have proper slings for all my red rifles.

I remember when I posted a picture of an RPD with a sling before, Dangertree said unfortunately they don't have any slings.

Only time will tell. I don't believe anyone has been told how many units are available or how many people made an order.

Seeing as how there are 70+or- coming in and the non prepaid orders will be at least 3500$ after taxes and shipping quite a few people will back out so its quite possible they will make it that far down the list.

No sling, no cleaning kit. Start hitting ebay.

A fair bit of speculation all around in there. But I do think there are people on the contact list who will see RPDs out of it.

Walter, will it be possible to get a copy of the FRT once it is issued? Doesn't appear that a typical owner can get access here - http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/online_en-ligne/frt-traf-eng.htm. I'm just looking for some to carry with the RPD should any LEO ever examine it and not see it as a non-restricted. Could we also get something for the belts as well? Not looking for anything on AEI letterhead, but just an official print out or other documentation to show that the belts are Ok at 5+ links.
