i swear my truck is anti hunting

Most cars have computers in them! I've had my Toyota FJ cruiser for almost 7 years now never changed the battery nothing ever went south just oil changes and tires, i <3 japanese vehicles but they are quite reliable but maybe you just got the bad one out of the batch??=p

x2
i have no complaints about my '13 tundra, love this little truck :)

and before all you maple syrup bleeding buy North American funs jump on, my truck was made in Texas :)

considering I live in what id call the motor city of Canada of course im a fan of North American vehicles and not imports(even import designs made here because most of the parts are not made here) I am also not a fan of vehicles that are not carbureted and vehicles with too much tech in them

You need to read the whole quote. ;)

bearkilr, yes you can burn used oil in a cummins diesel engine but not straight oil. It has to be added to the diesel fuel, cummin has/had a optional system that I've seen on the older N 14 engines that bleed off used engine oil into the fuel tanks and replaced the used oil to the engine from a fresh oil tank....no need to ever change the oil, only had to install new filters from time to time.
Maybe that is what his buddy was doing with the hydralic oil....adding it to the fuel tank?

The days are gone of reliable imports OR bullet proof domestics.

The days of automakers building their own components are long gone, usually least expensive provider will be chosen.GM, Ford, Toyota , Dodge, Nissan etc............... it is all the same, you are simply choosing appearance packages and options.

Even a buggered up and broken carburetor can still be made to get a vehicle movin. ;)

well she did it again ,only now ive got no tac or speedometer.its a huge suv/truck and now decided to look for a 5.9 dodge diesel but the prices still havent come down much.i know i can get between 8- 10 for the truck .now on a look out for a low milage one,i guess 100-150 k is considered low milage lol.looking at a 2004-2007 mega cab long box.4x4 .now thats a truck

It's still a Dodge, all innovation, zero quality.

Adding a whole bunch of accessories to a Dodge is like putting lipstick on a pig, lol.

Spent my whole working life as an auto repair tech/instructor in the trade.

Have yet to see anything that would persuade me to buy a dodge truck.

Regards, Dave.
