Sorry but they are not hunters, the guy doing the filming is a band council member according to info i've seen. Loon lake area band. Who would of thought that fine first nation members would dishonor animals in that fashion.

Was there anything illegal done other than failing to dispatch a wounded animal immediately, if that is even a requirement? I know you are supposed to make every reasonable effort to retrieve your game. But what do the SK regs actually read in regards to dispatch of wounded game?
I agree that was in pretty poor taste and I for one would have killed the animal immediately upon discovering it was still alive. Some people sure like to give hunting a bad name, worst part is they have this desire to post these events on social media?

You can be charged for cruelty to animals or animal abuse anywhere.
The trouble is finding the people with enough courage to do so in cases like this.

Wow.... these coments are not saying that! Get off your high horse! They are comenting on what they have seen on reserves, I have seen harsh stuff on reserves also. If I was looking after mother earth ( so I claim) I would be pressuring the chiefs to make the people more respectful on the reserves!

We're not judging all native people, it's really disappointing to me to personally know two or three natives that are not wastes of skin, but tens that are. I can say with every other race of people I have personal experience with natives have the worst scumbag ratio.
So what are you doing to improve the image of your people? I have enough matis in my blood to get status if I wanted it. Though Metis status doesn't mean crap.

Now Bear hunting has pretty much been put to a stop only allow for a draw for one beer a year
It's just not right to base opinions based on actions of individual people and this is what's happening again regardless of race and no I am not defending what they did it is obviously wrong
Just cannot fathom why people would judge an entire race based on actions of individuals regardless if they are native or wight
