Hey all, I hope to get good info here for what would be good "field" parts kit(maybe already exist). If something is not around, maybe we can start discussion to build one :D
 
Like this? RA Parts in the USA. Probably don't ship north, but you could assemble your own.

It would definitely have to include the extractor, and extractor spring. I say this from experience. I'll tag this to see if it goes anywhere.

that is my case, I was overwhelmed with all parts at Brownells and I am new to the the platform. Keep it going guys and something good will come out form this one. Hope to get feedback from Barney as well.

I Second that, I mean come on, you can never have enough grease on your bearings :p , but in all seriousness basically what most have said above any bolt parts are always good to have on hand as it does take a lot of abuse. Maybe a spare hammer spring or op rod spring?
 
I just checked Numrich. They want $45 for shipping on a bunch of bolt parts (firing pin, extractor, extractor spring, ejector, ejector spring). This is as much in shipping as the parts themselves.

Do any of the dealers here sell a bolt spare parts kit?
Does anyone want to go in on a group buy to defray the shipping costs?
 
I'm hoping that with the amount of these things in Canada, that someone starts taking their parts seriously. I don't like owning a gun, especially a heavy shooter in which spare parts are not available.
I suspect that if someone started accumulating parts for the m14, SKS, and 1911, they could have a healthy little side business going.

I hate to burst your bubble but numrich won't ship any of those parts to Canada.
 
most order i have placed on numrich or brownells I eventually get an email saying not able to ship order cancelled seems to be anything bolt related barrels aor even stripper clips...
