One * is Full /, Two ** Modified.
Steel Shot ? - Definitely not. If trigger is blued instead of gold, likely 195 or earlier. Gold after 195.
3" chambers in 20 ga. introduced 1957.
Raised rib ?? Round Knob/Long Tang Stock ??

True 90% value $ 1500 - 1600.

First is it round knob short tang? Have you checked the serial number (under breech opener lever)? Is it 2/34 and 3 inch both, or just 2 3/4?
Is the wood decent, original finish? Has it been blued? How are the bores?
Contrary to the opinion of others I can tell you that a good clean 20 gauge field grade superposed is worth $2250 and up in Canada. In the USA a real clean one starts at about $3k in a 20 gauge. Have you got an original Hartman leather box? Those boxes sell in the USA all day long, used of course, for $350 and up. Have you got any of the original paperwork? I have had maybe 30 superposed guns. Just sold off ten of them.

Little typo...should have said is it a round or square knob and is it a short tang or long. The round knob long tang are the most popular.

Make little difference now as this post dates back to Sept 2005 and prices have changed lots since then.
