What the warranty is like on Mauser by the way?

Merci! It's kind of funny that Mauser and Sauer state that these are their budget guns, however still expensive. The wood stock M12 can be purchased in the USA for $1,800.00 but here in Canada they are $400 to $500 more..........go figure? Germans do manufacture great sporting rifles and although this is not the original M98, and far from it, it's still German made. I'll give an unbiased review/report once load development is completed at the rifle range.Ya have to admire the Germans... rarely do they put a guarantee on guns (though the sig101 has a 5 shot sub moa 'guarantee' for the American market and it's the same gun as the M12 basically), the end product is more expensive usually than a competitive product (ie: Sako85), and should you not follow their suggested maintenance, any warranty or guarantee it did have is gone!
there must be a reason we like buying German things like knives, cars, guns...
congrats on your purchase, the wife said the M12 and Sauer 101 are out of my 'price range' so that was the end of that. really looking forward to reading your review.
was more meaning their cars, but the German rifle I'm looking at getting (Haenel Jaeger 10) has a 2 year parts/defect of workmanship warrantyWhat the warranty is like on Mauser by the way?
I think in US version of M12 comes without iron sights, in Canada I see wolverine lists them as euro model - with irons.
I believe that the differences between the American and Europe is that European M12 has open sights and the front sling swivel is positioned on the very tip of the fore end. American version, the front swivel stud is positions 3-4 inches back from the fore end tip.I think in US version of M12 comes without iron sights, in Canada I see wolverine lists them as euro model - with irons.
My wife had the audacity is ask how much it cost......how rude. Just kidding, I have the best wife in the world! Truth known, I jettisoned two American rifles for this Mauser. Open sights are a great option and do come in handy for close-in bush hunting or failure of the scope.the one's wolverine has are better... my wife gets irritated at the fact most rifles now don't come with sights and are optics dependent. I like the idea of factory iron sights, a lot.
