I am bitterly envious of that collection.
I present my 2012 shorty - none of the problems that plagued that batch, pretty happy about that...
Almost finished home made stock, Check Mate mag (thanks Dlask), Springfield brake, Bushnell 10*40, Milarm scope mount. She was shooting OK with a terrible chin weld, i'm really looking forward to having a cheek weld.

Finally all put together. Still need to find a cheek pad I like though.
So far the build list includes:
2009 Norinco M14
USGI Fiberglass stock filled and painted with Krylon and a Krylon matt clear coat
NM Flash hidder
NM front sight
USGI Garand rear sight assembly
S&J op rod spring guide
No need to shim the gas system. Nice and tight.
Arms 18 mount
Arms 22 low rings
Leupold Mark 4 2.5-8x36
The scope JUST clears the top of the rear sight aperture. I can adjust the rear sight up one click. If I raise it 2 clicks it will contact the scope.

Next will be a cheek riser, that PEPR one-piece sits a bit high when combined with that CASM base.

Very nice setup you have going. Would recommend switching to a lower scope mount though so you can get your optic closer to the barrel. Would also recommend the magpul PRS2 stock (you wouldnt need the seperate cheek riser and would look awesome.
