Hey Folks,

Thanks so much for having a look. My friend just bought her first .22 pistol (Colt Targetsman) and unfortunately has been having no luck with it. It is a sweet sweet pistol, but needs some work. I have already fixed a thing or two with it, but I won't bore you with the details, and this morning discovered another issue... The firing pin in broken.

My question is, is there a site I can go to, to find the part(s) I need, that actually ships to Canada!? I have looked at a few and all seem to shun us as unworthy of their precious American steel.

Thank you so much for your help!

The Broken Pin:

The Beautiful Targetsman... Purchased for $300 cash!!! Had I had the money in my pocket I would have bought it... Lucky for Maureen... I didn't!! :)

Holy crap!! They were asking over $40 to ship it!? $40 to ship a finishing nail!? ... I have sent an email, asking if there is a more affordable option.

I did not look at the shipping costs . My brother lives in the U.S. & I get him to
receive & send me items. I agree that $ 40.00 is a heck of a lot. That must include export paperwork.
Another suggestion would be to try Ebay. Worth a try.

Those Colt .22's are really nice pistols. I wonder if the Norc M93 Woodsman clone would
have the same firing pin ? Also worth a try.
BTW. It semms that there is a post war model & a pre war model.

I'd keep looking locally, I'm sure one will turn up somewhere at a good price. I doubt any gunsmith will make one for under $20.00

I think i might have one. Was given a bag of parts for a woodsman, thought i saw a firing pin in there. Left the bag at work, will check tomorrow. The woodsman's are nice pistols, have a second gen.match target and a challanger. But parts are dam near impossible to find.

Fingers crossed!!!!! That would be amazing!!! You should see the smile on Maureen's face (my gal and I are staying at her place right now)

Look forward to hearing back from ya!

I will look into all possibilities you offer up there. I truly appreciate all the advice, and your time to provide it :)

Cheers

Please let us know if and where you find one. I also have a broken firing pin on one of my woodsmans. Good thing I've got two of them so I can still keep shooting! :) But I need to get the other one working for my girlfriend. Actually, for me! I'm using hers right now. LOL Good shooting, Toni.

Took a look in in the parts bag, there is a firing pin. Don't know if it is the right one for yours, but looks the same. If you PM with address will pop it in an envelope and drop it in the mail tomorrow.
