What to do with all this brass??

If you are interesting in donating it, I am a new reloader and am having trouble getting my hands on decent brass as per my ranges "no scavenging" policy. I would take it from you and pay shipping. If you want some money in return we can discuss it, but I would not be able to offer much per lb as shipping will be costly as is.

Please let me know! I am very interested in it! I reload mainly 9mm, 45acp, and .223, but I would also like to get into .357 and .308. Would save me having to buy new made ammo!

No scavenging? What, they don't like you helping them clean up the range? That is a stupid policy.

Yeah tell me about it. You are allowed to pick up your own, but they are pretty strict about a guy shooting .45, walking around picking up .223.

I think the main reason is that they keep it and sell it back to commercial reloaders in the area... Then they in turn sell those commercially reloaded rounds in ther storefront at the range.

FYI if interested, I am in the Calgary area

Would be useful to list exactly where you are as Brass is usually not feasible for shipping.

I for one am always interested to trade for 357 and 44 mag brass for other brass or ammo in Burnaby/POCO area.

Would hate to just throw it all away.

Yeah... Especially when "yellow brass" is at almost $2.00/lb.

'Last time I dropped of 50lbs spent primers and a very small quantity of unreloadable brass at my local recycler I walked away with $108 in cash.

So are you saying there is no market for bulk used brass? Giving a box or two away at a time doesn't hurt as much as giving away 50 lbs worth if you know what I mean! LOL! We have a gunshow coming in March. Do people buy brass at these events?

get some pails and sort it by caliber. package it in baggies of 100. (count 100 and then weigh to make the other batches) Take it to the gun show and sell it for 2 cents for 9mm and up to 5 cents for 45acp.

I guess you just need to take more guns to the range when you go then you can say it's all your's ;)
