Spent some times couple weeks ago building a jig and treading my Remington Bolt.
file.php
the bolt knob was the last thing to do to this gun to make it a 100% custom. You can't tell but this started off life as a Rem 700 VTR in 22/250 now it's has new 26" SS barrel ( still 22/250), trued Bolt and action, trigger, and home brewed bolt. Next gun will NOT be another rem this one was a POS and wish I started with a action built buy a company that cares about quality control

In your signature line on the other place, you proudly list having a bed rug. Is that like a toupee or a removeable carpet to keep the rainwater in contact with the steel? (He says, smirking at the Ram truck driver)

The bed rug is not that bad for water it dries fairly fast and even if it did stay wet the scratch free paint under the rug will keep the water out. I only remove the rug once a year for deer hunting so it doesn't get soaked with blood, city folk don't like the red stain under the truck after a rain
