i wonder if the 'mericans- are confusing Taiwan, the REPUBLIC of China, with mainland China, the PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC of China

Taiwan bought the M14 and also the tooling, according to Wikipedia

First seven were test shots (random up top), then I got serious, standing up.

This is what I think is going on. Taiwan refers to itself as "China", as does mainland "China". They are separate governments (although mainland China feels it has claim to the island of Taiwan)
