Fierce Firearms?

I was looking them up online and they are made in Canada, Quebec they make there own actions which is based on the sako 85 action and the rifles come with a half inch guarentee. The prices start at $2200.00 and they make a titanium model for $2900.00 and tactical model for $2400 these are very good prices compared to a full custom and magnum sports in Lloydminster will be selling them.check out there website.

Wow, the tactical model says it uses a carbon fiber wrapped barrel for a total built price of $2400?? That seems to cheap to be true. Last I checked there were only two manufacturers of the carbon wrapped barrels. ABS and Christenssen and they both ran about 1k just for a barrel landed in Canada. If that is a real price that sounds pretty good. The action looks like a surgeon knock off and the stock looks like a Manners. That looks like something I will need to get more info on.

Fierce has a good-looking website, but it seems to be short on info. The descriptive blurb, which mentions a weight of under 6 pounds, is identical for each model. Hard to tell exactly which features and specs apply to the model you are looking at. The Tactical model is shown with a smooth receiver top, but there is another pic on the same page of what appears to be an integral Pic-rail model. They show three available stock finishes, but the illustration of the Tactical model has something completely different from any of them. Prices are a bit higher than what was mentioned above...they show just under $3G for the Ti model, and $3200 for the Carbon one. Still great prices, though.

I'm not trying to be "that guy"...you know, "Norincos suck!", "Why are KelTecs so expensive in Canada?", "Dealer ### is refusing to kiss my a$$!", etc....but has anyone actually seen and handled one of these guns? Or is this just another company with a cool website, which promises to deliver some wonderful product, which they will actually manufacture after they get a few hundred deposits paid?

I hope I'm wrong...some of their guns look very appealing. A Canadian-made, accurate, feature-laden high-tech hunting rifle for a really good price? I hope it's true...but...

That's pretty new. But Fierce seems to be a spinn-off of Nutech, which is a highly equiped machine shop, supplying parts to BRP beyond others...

they showed there guns at the shot show and are suppose to be out this spring. They seem to look good for the money anything with the same features would be around $4000.00 if you went the custom route.

For all intents and purposes, they are custom guns. When you get to order then in caliber and built to order, what is not custom. What seems shifty is that the stocks look like a Manners without saying a Manners but are "proprietary" an the barrels are a "proprietary" carbon wrapped barrel. Is it theirs or is it ABS's? If it was ABS's process and they were now licensed I would advertise that because ABS finally got it right. You can really screw one up. An the action on the tactical model looks eerily like a the Surgeon XL and is only a drawing rather than an actual pic. It seems to me like they have just rendered a bunch of really top of the line parts and priced it at half of what the components would cost. If it is true, it may very well be my next build. I wanted an ABS on my .284 but it was to much money.

Just a pet peeve. You got it right that time. Well done.

I'm kicking around on a forum for entertainment. I obviously have to read the posts, so using proper English helps that process.
