Hey guys iv recently had a issue with my glock 17 and was hopping maybe somebody with good gunsmith skills would know what the problem is.. just recently my gun has been failing to #### back after shooting not sure if its a issue with the magazine or gun.. My guess is its not the gun because once it happens when I #### back the gun to look at the chamber there is no round in it and no round falls out of the weapon, either the round stayed in the magazine or there is no ammo left at all.

Ive been using two types of ammo, Winchester 9mm Lugar 115 Grain and Blazer Brass 9mm Lugar 115 Grain. not sure if its one of the rounds in particular that's doing this. But I can tell you one thing when it happens I can feel a spring of some sort kinda feels like its somewhere on top of the handle not sure what it is. Also I clean my gun after every range visit and lube it.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

either the round stayed in the magazine or there is no ammo left at all.

These are two very different issues. You need to be more specific about the problem which may require a bit of investigation on your part.

For the most part, feeding issues will be related to the magazine. Get another mag to try.

Failure to lock back on the last round can have a couple of sources. Load a single round into the mag and shoot. Does the slide lock back? Try this a bunch of times and report back.

Dis assemble then soak in a degreaser over night dry then use dry graphite spray on action,,i also find that winchester ammo is not the best for handguns (no i am not cutting up winchester) but i had a similar problem with win 22 mag

...don't spray graphite in your gun...
