Grizzly Mag #### thread

So it sits flush with the barrel when the breacher choke is removed and the same reason he has a side saddle on a magfed shotgun......becouse he can.
I personally don't like that gun its way too cluttered and busy and im more of a simple kind a guy but each to their own I guess.

not the "same reason" at all....
The sidesaddle can hold specialty rounds/allow for rapid single reloads.....it at least serves a purpose.

Here is mine

My plan is to bore out the tube extension and install a surefire flashlight.

Plus the barrel looked funny without it, and the weight helps tame recoil.

Hey Daver_II what stock/ stock adapter is that?
_Spo0nFED

It is an old Remington law enforcement top folder.
ATI makes a cheap plastic version, but the Remington ones come up on the EE from time to time.
One like this will usually run $200-$250 on the EE due to their rarity.

FWIW, I put a side saddle on my Mag fed shotgun because in either a home defence OR competition situation you'll be starting with the mag OUT of the gun... (not all competitions, but the ones at my range for sure). So, when I pick up the gun, I grab one round from the saddle and load the chamber, then slam the mag in for a total of 6 rounds.

Its not at all just "because I can". It makes sense. I only used a 4 round as there really is no need for more. But with each mag change comes the opportunity to load an extra round.

as long as your careful putting that 1st shell in. there is no lifter like a regular 870 so it can fall right out the bottom!
