Pistol "for" wife

Ok This might be a little off but my wifes first experience with handguns was with a S&W revolver shooting low power 38 special. Now when she shoots it's my GP100 she reaches for first. Still with 38 special low power loads but with grips that fit her hand. My M&P9 is her least favorite because of muzzle flip where the GP has significantly less.

Ya I don't think I'd set my wife up with a polymer. Probably a CZ sp01.
But based on your intentions, get the polymer you want, if she doesn't like it, buy her an inexpensive 22 and keep the polymer.

^^^ +1 ^^^

My wife shopped around for months trying to decide. Picked up all kinds of pistols all over the place. She fell in love with the SP-01 from the time she first laid hands on it but still took weeks to commit, just to make sure there was nothing better for her out there. ...It was kind of excruciating to witness, actually... But that's what she kept coming back to and has never looked back - I think that pistol gets more attention than the dog and I combined.

Granted though, it's not plastic and she is the primary shooter.

The one polymer she did consider was a Beretta PX4 and I'm still not convinced I won't come home one day and find one in the safe.

my wife has a sp 01 shadow and she is 120 lbs and she has shot m-p,,sigs,,24-7 tactical,,1911,,glocks and she says there is nothing like the cz,,she love that gun and very accurate too,so from a women to a women get the cz,,or similar like tanfoglio,or canik or sphinx, all metal front heavy is the way to go

How about showing us a pic of the orange? They are pretty sweet.
Here's the orange, this one is mine not the wife's, my wife has a regular shadow turned leftie with red aluminium grips

My wife took a year to pick out what she wanted, she is 5"8 130. She went with a s&w performance center 45acp. She loves it.
