I've recently acquired a P226 with the original grips. I have smallish hands and have vastly prefered the E2 Sigs I have handled. I have been trying to find a store that sells the E2 grips/conversion kit with very little luck. So far I have found Questar selling them, but they are almost constantly out of stock.

Does anyone know of a store, online or otherwise, that sells the grips? I am in Ontario if that matters.

I have owned 226 pistols over the years and I wear a Medium glove. When the E2 gripped versions were introduced, I further fell in love with the 226 platform. So I sold my P226R frame and the. Bought myself one of the E2 gripped pistols from Cabelas in Winnipeg. :)

Not a single regret. I even brought it to shoot at the NSCC pistol matches in Connaught and finished in the middle of the pack.

I did that to test myself and that platform. What a great experience.

You will not regret that E2 upgrade.

Cheers, Barney

The sig aluminuminum grips are supposed to be thin, have a look at the hogue ones while your at it. Got a 229 myself, can't stand the looks of those e2's, if that's at all important to you. G10 piranhas are supposed to be the best according to Internet hype.

I just got an E2 kit a few days ago from Calgary Shooting Centre, great service. I also have smallish hands and the E2 grips make a big difference.

I e-mailed them and they responded quickly. CRAFM also had them in stock when I e-mailed them both last week.

I have and quite like the E2 P226, but also put a set of those G10 Pirahnas on my P220 and those are fantastic. I call them my 'cheese grater' grips because they feel so aggressive in your hand, but during shooting they are not all all uncomfortable and they provide a supremely positive grip. Not to change the subject.....haha
