German HK45 Pistol PREORDER!

I don't know anything about HK, but what are the differences between these ones and the HK45 Variant 1 that seem to be instock somewhere else while everyone is waiting months for these?

These are German produced models with German proof markings, the ones you see at other dealers ready to purchase have their final essembly in the U.S, with the barrel and slide made in Germany, and the polymer frame produced at HK's facilities in the U.S. Their is no quality difference between HK's made in the U.S and ones produced in Germany.
 
thanks for the info. I notice these pre-orders @ Wanstalls are also cheaper by $250

The limited run of German made Sig P220 from about a year back were cheaper than the American made ones as well, and with Sigs the German made ones could just as well be completely different guns, on a completely different level.
 
Don't let the devil ride, cause he will want to drive:) Although not a good one, at least you have an excuse lined up. I don't drink so what am I going to tell the warden when these things show up? I will have to search for "an excuse to buy excess amount of guns" thread.

My friend pre-ordered one of these from another store too. He showed me their CGN thread showing they should be in transit now. I'd assume the one I ordered from Wanstalls would show up around the same time. Gonna have to order another magazine and one of those thread protectors once they contact me on its arrival.

Already paid for two extra mags when I did my pre-order.

I was under the assumption that we had to get all the magazines at the time of order? I ordered 6 extra when I ordered the pistol.
