Federal gun grab?

So I've been thinking about this and either the RCMP has been infiltrated by communist!

Or this is the start of the UN Small Arms Ban, test run!

Thoughts???

This is not a test run, just another step. Don't forget the High River gun grab last year!

Mr Wolverine I heard a rumor on a different thread could you speak to it?

Rumor on the street where I am, is that after 1Jan2015, Wolverine supplies will no longer be selling AR platforms to civillians. I reiterate that this is just something that I heard, and am welcoming Wolverine to shoot me down if that's the case.

Mr Wolverine I heard a rumor on a different thread could you speak to it?

This is a new rumour to me! For over the past 20 years we have heard rumours that the AR "Family" would be prohibited, so far it has not happened, will it happen? YES, JUST GIVE IT TIME, there is a clandestine agenda, there is a "Binder" listing all the firearms that should be restricted or prohibited. Unless we can collectively get our act together it is only a matter of time.

At least one distributor was saying that Wolverine would be shut down by now, but I can also assure you that is only another rumour! :) Mr Wolverine is still alive and kicking. :)

Due to my position in this industry I am often privy to leaked information, if I publish it without divulging my sources I am accused of fear mongering. I will never divulge my sources or the information flow would stop. I honestly believe that what happens in the next 12 to 18 months will have a lasting affect on the Canadian Firearms Industry and the shooting community.

Range 300, watch and shoot, watch and shoot.:)

I hate rumors so I figured ask the source. Thanks for the swift answer. I also believe that next 12 to 18 months are going to define the future of firearms ownership in Canada. The next Liberal or NDP government will be the end of us.

So should I buy now or wait 18 months?

There have been calls to write letters to your MP about this issue which I am all for. My question is, my MP is with the NDP. Will it even resonate with him or any other party about our concerns? Mind you I am not saying we should roll over and take this, I am just looking for guidance.

The NDPs are currently losing in polls and on their way back to third party status. Former NDP MP, Bruce Hyer quit the NDP after the party tried to force him to vote to save the LGR. He stayed an independent, then joined the Greens. So they've lost one seat over the Gun Registry already. And whereas when Layton was leading the party they wanted to ban semi-autos and handguns, according to their online policy book, they propose a more regional system. From section 3.8 of their online policy book "New Democrats believe in:............d) Stopping the smuggling of illegal firearms and enable all municipalities, provinces, and territories to implement a ban on handguns." . While I don't trust them, they may finally be getting the hint that what help them get votes in Quebec, helps them to lose votes in Rural Canada and the West. Ok bottom line, and enough of my rambling, you should absolutely tell your NDP MP that you are outraged by this, and if they don't speak up on this fascist violation of private property, come next election, you will give your vote to whomever is most likely to defeat them in your riding.

We as a community need to make it perfectly clear to Mr Harper that he is headed to a minority government or retirement (he'll never sit as an opposition party and I don't blame him) unless he shapes up and deals with C68. It would be better if he retired and let a real conservative lead the party. He is the principal reason we are having to deal with this now. It was his liberal ideology that made him agree with Bob Rae and kick our members out of the Firearms Advisory Committee. Don't be fooled by liberals wearing blue suits. I was a supporting member of the CPC. I now make it a point to remind them that they won't get a dime or a vote out of my household until they shape up. I'll never vote Liberal or NDP, since they are obviosly worse by far, but the CPC should be encouraged to DUMP HARPER and get on the right track (pun intended).

The Swiss Arms family of weapons platforms has been a mix of restricted and NON restricted firearms. The restricted ones BIG BROTHER knows you have them, the NON restricted ones they do not know you have them and if they do know as a result of the de-funked long gun registry they would be the ones you sold last month correct. Buy a good pelican case, pack your Swiss Arms in grease and put them in the ground, you would not be the first firearms owner to do what's right!! If the government will not protect you then you need to protect yourself it is that simple.

Tagged Thread.

Nice to see that there are people coming together to confront the situation. The last couple months logging on to this website had brought me down. People laying blame, complaining about site sponsors. Reading this thread is like taking a refreshing deep breath of air. My letters have been mailed, I'm buying more firearms regardless of classification, spreading the word.

I bought my my first two firearms from Wolverine, thank you for starting this thread!

Still in the Fight!

Personally i am to scarred of the government to send them a letter like this, and end up on some sort of terrorist watch list... because only criminals need guns right?

<Tin Foil Cap On> How do you know you're not already on a watch list? <Tin Foil Cap Off>
If you actually were on a terrorist watch list you'd know because you wouldn't be able to fly.

Please don't be scared, time to stand tall and be counted. If not you had best sell all your guns and hand in your PAL and keep off this forum.

I am sorry but how can you not fear the government at this point? They have proven that they can, and will, do whatever the hell they want, whenever the hell they want. Due process and equal rights (especially for firearms owners) is virtually non existent. If you do not think that the RCMP is above the law, get yours eyes checked

Maybe I am talking out of my ass, but this is how one Canadian firearms owner feels.

Who says I don't fear the government. There are lots of things in this life that scare me, but that hasn't meant I turn tail and head the other direction. I have no delusions as what they can do and what they want to do, but I'll be damned if I roll over and play dead. Never have never will, and if I happen to be one of the ones who take a hit, so be it. If people don't take chances and take stands nothing changes. Take a good look at what is going on in the Ukraine right now, I'm pretty sure a lot of those folks are scared but they are taking a stand on what they think is right.

At the end of the day I still have to answer to the person I see when I look in the mirror.
