Do you want to possibly face criminal charges? I don't.

What's happening is they're taking guns with restricted and non-restricted variants and then they're going to scare the public into wanting the lgr back because of us criminals not giving up our legally imported and purchased firearms up and then of course they'll use some innuendo which will make people fear all of the evil prohibited guns out there that they can't find and destroy due to a lack of registry.

They are so concerned about everyone converting these guns to automatic, yet they would be pretty disabled with only a five round magazine.

Just check the other forums, there is a thread showing the actual images of the FRT. It's not just the 2v and 4v, it's also the 2P. Anything manufactured on, or after 2007.
 
Holy hell!! And so it begins. The Swiss Arms, now the 858. One way or another they will get our firearms! And here we all breathed a collective sigh of relief when the long gun registration was abolished....
This has been a dark week for law abiding Canadians.
If someone could verify that the CSA versions are affected or are under scrutiny, it would be appreciated.
 
Does this include the ones manufactured by the CSA ones? They are freshly milled and not "Converted autos"
 
Thank God I had to sell my cz858 before this $hit started stirring... Seems as though they're on a roll. The Kriss Vector is most likely next in line.
 
We gotta stop this before our safes are cleaned out! Wow, they gotta know we're going to fight back?!? (in a legal/political sense of course). I'm signing, writing, donating, all of the above... Sad day for the citizens of Canada.

For each of the versions now listed as prohib for being converted autos, the frt for those versions has this quote in each of their respective listings... Change the name referred to for each respective type.

- "CZ858 Tactical-2 P" firearm with a large machined window on the left side of the sight block and a proof date of 2007 or later is derived from the full automatic CZ VZ58 firearm which has been altered to discharge one projectile with one pressure of the trigger (converted automatic). The original markings have been altered or obliterated and the firearm has been remarked. - NOTE: There are semi-automatic versions of the CZ858 Tactical-2 P. This semi-automatic version has the following characteristics: 1) a narrow, machined window on the left side of the sight block with a modern CZ proof mark and a proof date of 2005 or 2006, or 2) original CZ factory marks ("she") on the left side of the sight block along with a modern CZ proof mark and a proof date of 2005 or 2006. - "CZ858 Tactical-2 P" firearm can be converted to a full automatic firearm in a relatively short period of time with relative ease.
