SALE: LCW Non-Corrosive 7.62x39 FMJ

Has anyone compared the accuracy of the FMJ vs. HP in something besides and SKS. Say a XCR or bolt?
 
So anyone want to sell me several boxes of FMJ in the Burnaby/POCO area.

Need to test before deciding to get more HP or family pack of FMJ. Too lazy to get it from Chilliwack show in March, HACS is not till April by then expect FMJ sale to be long over.
 
Latest email from CanAm states

I also ordered on the 15th. I sent a couple emails but no reply...

Also went to the range today, went through about 200 rounds worth of FMJ but about 50 of them didn't fire. Are these known for bad or hard primers? I'm just wondering if it was the ammo or my firing pin.

For once I hope they DON'T process my order right away. I just found something else I want and won't be able to call them until the afternoon... Here's hoping for an extra coffee break for the processing team haha
 
Probably your firing pin. VZ/black rifles has hard primer strikes. My XCR had no problems at all with the HPs.

You should list your location in case someone near by can help. It is 2:12am in BC.

I hope it's not the VZ58, that's what I plan to shoot mine in. I haven't shot any of it yet, but I've noticed that the primers on all of mine seem to be seated deeper than normal in the shell casing, not flush with the back of it like most ammo. Perhaps that's the problem. I'll be quite disappointed if this ammo doesn't fire in my VZ.

I was very hesistant to say its the ammo's fault because I don't want to affect CanadaAmmo sales in any way. I compared the dimples on both fired and misfired catridges and they looked similar, the misfired ones might be a c-hair shallower but you'd be trusting my eyes and judgment on that one lol. I'll see if the primer seating looks any different among them. If you do get out to fire a few please let me know how you make out.

I certainly will but more than likely I won't be out there for at least two weeks.
 
Just picked up a case with the SKS combo... $449 is a pretty stellar deal. Only $149 for the SKS... I should be able to flip it and cover the taxes and NFA donation on the ammo.

Easy to tell: get a SKS from your friend and shoot.

I don't think it's ammo....it has been sold in States for years. Unless you got a bad batch.
