I can buy a couple of these for a low price.Theyre described as parts guns.How available are these things?

I'm a big fan of Stevens Favourites. But many are in rough condition. I think they must've been used a good deal in their day, then forgotten about. Ridden hard and put away wet, as they say. Most will need a fair amount of smithing to bring them back to shooting condition. Then there's the question of obsolete rimfire calibers. If you're confident in your skills as a hobby gunsmith, have at it. I think you'll enjoy them.

I guess my skills as a gun smith are pretty limited.I've Decided give up the idea.I like looks of them but really have no time or patience for a rebuild.
