Can anybody recommend where to buy an STI ? ? ?

So I received my Rangemaster today...

What a beauty! It has a nice heavy feel to it in the hand, not like plastic-fantastic Glock. Nothing against the Glock, as I'm shooting it all the time, just a loaning feeling for a piece of real metal that feels like one.

The first time you rack the slide, the feeling is indeed like it's on ball bearings. Many have reported the same semi-addictive sense from all of STI quality guns. The ramp is polished to a shine, I could see myself in it. The sights are black unmarked in the rear and fiber-optic red/orange in front. Gun points naturally with fiber-optic front falling right in the middle of the black rear sight, as intended. Your eyes immediately focus on the front sight with no distractions in the rear. The trigger appears to be 3 pounds or so. Though I know STIs claim to have a factory trigger set at around 4 pounds, this one appeared to be light. Maybe after Glock, every single action will appear super light. Very little take-up, and before you know it, hammer drops in a positive surprise. Even better is the reset. It's very short. Almost nothing short.

Can't wait to take it to the range for a proper test-drive double tapping ;-)

So I finally received the paperwork and took it to the range.

WOW!

The first visit to the range and half of 9mm ammo crate is gone! So warning -- it eats ammo and keeps a smile on your face :)

Started slowly, thought I'd sight you in. No sighting in was needed, all the hits were in the 10x area. The gun screamed "double tap", so I gave it to him! WOW! All hits still in the 8-9-10 off-hand double tapping rather quickly. Then I moved out the target out further -- same accuracy results.

So, it is very accurate, pleasure to shoot, entices you to double tap a lot with it and never malfunctioned in any way on me.

Loved it!
