Fixed 10x

Well I was blessed with 20/16 vision so seeing things is easy for me but I was wondering what's a max range on a fixed ten power I only need it out to around 175-200 max will a 10x be sufficient???

If it has adjustable parallax, range is unlimited.
if parallax is fixed,then its only accurate at 100 yards

A fixed 10x will work just fine past 100 yards. I shot a three shot 6.5" group at 860 yards with a SHR970 in 300WM and a Bushnell 10x. Don't believe otherwise because it just ain't true.

Lol good thing it's only accurate at 100 yards I can't even explain how untrue that is. That scope will be fine.

I believe they are focused from 100 yards to infinity. The reticle will always be in focus using a fixed scope. This is the one style of scope that should suffer from NONE of the problems associated with variable power scopes, ie. fuzzy crosshairs, different point of aim in relation to where your eye is to the scope diopter etc. Use one with confidence!

I took my rem700 .223 and shot at 500 meters for the first time in my life yesterday. Bushnell fixed 10x and I could see much better than I expected. More than enough to hit our grader blade gong.

Hey I made I grader blade gong to .. I paid the 50 more and got 2-10 bdc for 223 probably a better choice with my data any ways

could you explain this please...

At long range with à 100yards fixed parallax, If your eye is not perfectly centered with the scope axis,you can get parallax error
Some scopes are worst than others and fixed are usualy less affected than variables
