Hi, I have a Nikon Slug Hunter BDC 200 mounted on a Savage 220F 20 gauge slug gun. It's reticle has 4 circles below the cross hairs but the literature that came with the scope is poor. I found earlier model literature that talks about shooting a group at, for example, 200 yd. Mark the centre of the group with a huge X and go back to the rifle and move the power up until the lowest circle is on the X. Does this make sense? the idea is to do this with each desired range, e.g. 100, 150, 175 and 200. I'm not an expert on optics and am having a hard time trying to figure out how changing the magnification will change the position of the reticle. Unless that info applies to an older scope.

Thanks!

Yup, thats the link. Click the "Launch Now" tab and it will take you into the software to customize the reticle for the slug you're shooting. Feel free to PM me if you've got any other questions.
