In years where Ruger can supply them, we sell several hundred #1's. However, supply has been very limited. Good nws is; Ruger has shipped the 2013 SKU's finally. We have 1-V's in 6.5/284, 1-RSI's in 7x57, 1-H's in 375 HH, 1-A's in 222 rem and 1-S's in 45/70 currently enroute to us now (likely here by month end). We waited over a year for most of these calibers o I'm not too optimistic on the 2014 cals but Ruger is shipping a good supply of product lately so there is some reason for optimism.
The idea of the #1 in 303 British was great but the execution wasn't so awesome. Most people I've spoken to that bought them found them hard to accurise, getting little better than 2" groups at 100yds. Ok, so it's a hunting rifle, but for the money you'd hope for better performance. Quite a few #1s in 303 British sold and then found their way back onto classifieds here in Oz, usually at close to full price, although I remember a few on sale new for $200 less than the original price, simply because word got around that they weren't that accurate.
There is a rumour, and that's all it is for now, that there will be no ruger #1's in the 2015 lineup. Anything we see may all be distibutor exclusives, including the 275 Rigbys that we have waited 3 years for.
I can't honestly say that I'm surprised, but I'll certainly be disappointed. I guess that means I'll have to continue scouring the EE and Prophet River's website.
