I own a number of pistols and was tired of either toting them all to the range in individual cases going back and forth to the truck several times or letting them bang around together in a rifle case. Sooooooooooo....... I picked up a Pelican Storm IM2620 case of ebay for $225. The collapsible handle and wheels make transporting it on the range a dream. I removed the pick n pluck foam to accommodate 2 revolvers and 6 automatics.

That's brilliant ! What are those cases originally made for and do they come with the foam?

Its a generic Pelican Storm IM2620 case. You have to make sure you buy one with the pick n pluck foam because they come with a variety of different types of foam. Mine was an empty case for $130 and $90 for the pick n pluck foam but you can buy it with this foam in it already for pretty much the same price.

That's a nice setup, I like the idea of getting a wheeled one. I usually buy from customcasesco.com they have good prices on Pelican plus they have other brands too.

Pelican cases have been used by the bullseye community for fifteen years, I'm surprised you folks are just discovering them. You can also look at aluminum tool cases some also have wheels,

I use pelican cases for a lot of things, including my professional work.
I recommend checking 'the pelican store' particularly, the kaizen foam they sell. It's very easy to custom make any shape/cut out.

I have a 1500 case that fits holsters, pouches, 2 pistols and 6 mags, all separated in 2 layers on top of each other. It's convenient to have almost everything in one place.

I used to take a whole pile of guns to the range but now I only take one or two unless im taking a new shooter or non shooter out to shoot.
