Does anybody still put "HANDLOADS" for ammo on their form 6. I did this several years ago and didn't have an issue. Is this still OK. I was hearing rumblings it might be a soft point.

I've always just put my name and province and country. Always been approved. I really dont think they care too much about the ammo
i sent off a form6 in aug. went through, no invite, no license. sent off another nov3 for more guns, nothing. resent it on jan3, still nothing back.
are they that backed up or do they now need the license/invite. that is what i heard from two other people on possible reasons why the forms havent come back.
So I sent my Form 6NIA in on March 20 and got it back today.
Now if my ATT would ever come in I will be set. I have been waiting 5 weeks for my ATT. F'in ridiculous
However, for CROSSING THE BORDER, you WILL require a match invite (at least in the western half of Canada, this is the case). Right or wrong, these are the instructions the border guards are working under. I discussed this with one of them. As they were reviewing my documents (including the match invite), I commented that I had heard that the match invite was no longer required when crossing the border. The response was that their marching orders were that they are still required.
If you're referring to your ATT for the border, it won't be issued until they get a copy of your 6NIA. Whenever I got a new 6NIA I would fax it to Kerrie Cook and would get my border ATT faxed back in about 10 minutes.
This is province specific. My LTATT here in Alberta covers me for border crossings so long as I've got the paperwork once I arrive there. If I remember I'll post the exact wording of it tonight.
Whoohoo! Just got my Form 6 back from the ATF!
The Tavor is going south with me!
