Tapco Mag doesn't work

i think i know waht you says , the ip of the bullet get stuck just beside of the chamber ? if that you may have to do a very small chamfer on the corner of the chamber were the bullet get stuck , i've do that on one of my sks because at every 3 or 5 round the tip was getting stuck just beside the chamber
You got it bang on. My tapco mags worked at first but with hard use they started loosening up and Rounds would start popping Out when the mags were insterted. I returned the sks back to oinginal, sold all the tapco crap and bought a cz858, then an m14 then an xcr haha. The sks does what the sks was designed to do extremely well. Awesome shtf rifle but not with tapco mags. I wouldn't trust a tapco mag to do anything other than look kinda cool (when insterted, the duck bills look funny and make a chest rig almost impossible to find)

If the Tapco mags are less than stellar, does anyone manufacture SKS mags that actually work?
Yeah none of these mags ever work, for anyone, ever. Except all of mine.
But I'm also obsessed with looking cool to at the deserted gravel pits too, so....just dumb luck I guess.
I've also heard of lots of feeding problems with the stock pinned mags too though. So watch that follower inside that one too. Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't!

I have 3 x20 ...two work great, the other one .....not so great!!! stupid me sold my factory steel mag on the EE......YA you know who you are (the guy buying all the factory steel mag on the EE) and were coming for y..o..u.! LOL Going to have to buy some new farctory steelie or has anyone tried the after market steel mags with the duck bills?
