CSA Vz58 Chrome?

Ordered one from my LGS and requested the chrome lined barrel. But, they were unsure if they ordered one with, or without. So my question is whether or not the box is marked for the chrome versions? There is a "C" at the end of the serial, but that could mean anything. Is the chrome lining at the muzzle very shinny like the SKS?

Any insight?

Mine has a C at the end of the serial number too. And mine has a new m4 style stock and is not chrome lined. How much was it? Non chrome lined are 899 most places and the chrome lined vz's are over a grand.
 
Mine is chromed.

It has a C at the end of the serial number, and the letters "CHRM" are on the side of the box.

On the white label?

C is obviously for "commercial" on the serial.

I think she might be a non-chrome. Although I did pay $1200 taxes in...

A pic of a chromed muzzle crown might help. I haven't cleaned up the grease as I might return it yet.

You must certainly will find the letters CHRM on the side of the box.

This is the sticker on the side of the box I received from Kelly's Sporting Goods. I am not sure if this sticker is specific to their company, but it's obviously chrome lined in this instance:

Correct. This is the best way to ensure you have a chrome lined barrel - it will say so on the box. You cannot "accidentally" get a chrome lined barrel, because they are more expensive than non-chrome lined.
 
I returned the rifle and apparently it sold off the rack in two days, lol. I am holding out for a chrome lined one with a fixed stock. The restock should be hitting the stores in the next few months.
 
Well good luck getting the chromed rifle. Just for interests sake my csa in 556's serial ends in "c" but don't have the box handy to check. Got it for 800 flat last spring.
