Hopefully the barrel can be easily replaced for those who want 300 AAC blackout, or maybe even the option to go 7.62x39 with a magwell kit.
I'll confirm that this bullpup is drastically unsuited to World War One combat.

The M17s was sold by Bushmaster from 1992 to 2005. K&M has been modifying them for several years and only just recently put out there own version.
You will let us know when the .308 version is up for grabs won't you.
In original form. With the mill work, it is very comfortable and doesn't overheat at all. I shot mine yesterday for some time and felt no need for gloves.

I think this is a neat idea but am having trouble getting past the exterior lines of the extrusion. How easy is this thing to convert to LH?

Haven't seen it done. Make a new ejection port, get a left hand bolt made up. Could be possible.
K&M will be offering dedicated left hand and right hand versions. Not ambi, dedicated.

Too bad it doesn't have an ambidextrous mag release up by the trigger guard, like on an AR.

That would be goddamn impressive to get that to work. The new Tavor X95s have a magazine release almost exactly like the AR15.
