The place that have had them, were custom jobs. Although Bushmaster has promised a DMR style ACR later this year, which will be non-restricted from the factory.
Bushmaster makes promises, and rarely delivers, don't hold your breath waiting for the nr version.
If you want one, buy the current model acr and rebarrel it.
We will be receiving the first shipment of these when they arrive in Canada shortly. We still have some available for pre-order, which can done either by email or by calling the shop.
Bushmaster has been promising caliber conversion kits since 2011 and none have ever been retailed here or in the US. All NR ACR's are custom barreled rifles and I don't believe anything they say about "available this spring" or "coming soon" until I actually see them on the rack in the shop or at least listed as available on a shops website.
You would be better off to have a barrel made anyway since you will get a higher quality barrel which should be more accurate. Bushmaster simply cutting their blank to a longer length and heavier profile will do very little to improve accuracy in the DMR model. Personally I'm not a fan of the heavy PRS stock or heavier barrel anyway but to each their own I guess.
My non restricted with light profile barrel is awesome and I wouldn't trade it for the new model even if the new one came with some extra cash.
