GSG mp-40 .22lr Release date Spring 2014

Hey there! The proposed release date for the gsg mp-40 .22lr is this spring. Anyone know of dealers importing them here? If so is there a preorder list?

Called Blue line. They applied for a sample of the STG-44 in 2012 and have not heard anything back from GSG. Apparently the process goes, they get a sample then apply to the RCMP. So if theyre 2 years off the one already we can likely expect to be many more years off still on something being released this year. oh well ....

I handled one when I was in Bangor Maine at [ Maine Military Surplus ] They are very nice rifles. Price in US dollars as of DEC/13 was $549.99. I will have one of those dirty bas#ards soon I hope! It had the wooden box with eagle.

Supposedly the RCMP have had the gun for a while but no decision yet. With the current fiasco ongoing don't hold your breath for any kind of result soon.

Had the 22LR version of the MP40? Or the STG44?

The STG44 has been with the RCMP lab for several years now. As the MP40 hasn't yet been released yet in the US, I highly doubt the RCMP lab has received one yet. It will be some time before they are sold here, if ever.

Apparently the RCMP have had the GSG-STG44 sample for over 2 years now and still there has been no classification.

I gave up on waiting...

Except the MP40 isn't a named prohib. So variant doesn't matter.
