I think that is what he is telling you.

If you've spent any time with a c7, or a c8, you'd see the differences between all 3 immediately.

I did. Barrel length from front sight to flash hider is different, handguard is different length, hand guard is different profile.

Even with a C7A1 without the railed upper and Elcan, with an A1 style carry handle, the C7 is a different type. The c8 is even more different looking.

Do all ARs look the same? Yes. And very much no. The Dissipator doesn't look anything close to "exactly like" anyone's issued Diemaco rifle of any genre.
