are there any x10 round 9mm magazines that work/fit the SAM 1911's?

I'm considering either the 9mm Enhanced or the 9mm Sigma 9.

8 rounds is okay, but 10 rounds is better. I want to make sure my paper target is dead, so I want that 2 round insurance buffer.

I'd love to know how the CFO figures out what the largest calibre a range can support. for instance, I'm at Mission R&G...their pistol range is dug into the side of a hill and yet the maximum there is only .357 Mag. I would think something like that would allow for larger!
Ya, they say it's for insurance reasons. But, for $165 a year including CSSA, for an indoor range, I can't complain. Still think it's stupid though.

I agree that the 5 round limit is stupid, but wow - you are getting a great deal.

Looking on the bright side, when shooting semi-auto, going 5 rounds at a time definitely slows one down enough to concentrate on technique, and you probably don't blast through nearly as much ammo ($) during each visit. I choose to load only 5 rounds at a time sometimes, even throwing in a snap cap or two with the batch so I can see if I'm flinching.

They are full of BS my club is the same way it go's back to the days of the good old boys when bullseye shooting was big and there back way thinking has not moved with the times .

Saying it's about insurance is nonsense. Insurance companies don't care how many rounds you load.
The 5 round thing goes back to ISU/Olympic bullseye rules, with a bunch of "It's how we've always done it." thrown in. Plus a certain amount of not wanting to wait for a guy to fire ten. If you want it changed, you need to run for office at your club, instead of just whining about it.
In any case, there was posting here, by Wolverine Supplies, last August, advertising 10 round SS mags at $39.99 each. $32.50 for a 9 round mag.
